POST COVID-19 NATIONAL ICT ROADMAP: OVERCOMING THE CHALLENGES AND LEVERAGING NEW OPPORTUNITIES FOR ICT INDUSTRY

COVID-19 has posed a challenge to all of us: should we only defend and mitigate or should we take it as an opportunity to reflect and overhaul our approach as a nation towards the economy, society, governance, and prosperity. Bangladesh believes that COVID-19 is an opportunity to take Bangladesh to the next level of digitalization and it is streamlining into all aspects of our lives. It is also an opportunity to take ICT as an industry to the next level with an agenda of ‘Made in Bangladesh’. Learning from successes and failures is an opportunity for Bangladesh to become more inclusive, sustainable, and humane.
